Hi! I'm Elizabeth Marchant. I was raised in Utah, Tennessee and Michigan. Moving helped me to discover myself and develop strong social skills. At age 5 I learned to play the harp and continued until high school when I decided it wasn't my passion; I still enjoy playing in my free time and music will always be a big part of my life. I graduated from West Bloomfield High School, one of the most diverse high schools in the nation. This diversity has helped to shape my views, giving me a very eclectic outlook on life. After 2 years in college I volunteered to go on an 18-month religious mission, half of which was spent on the Navajo Reservation. My life was put into perspective after this experience, adding to the rich cultural diversity of my lifelong adventures.
I have always had an interest in fashion and design but was unsure of how to make it into a meaningful career. As I explored general classes in college I ruled out almost every career path. I applied and was accepted to the Interior Design program, and it is through those classes that I have found what I am truly passionate about. The events of my life have helped me to succeed in designing from a unique perspective.
I recently finished my degree in Interior Design at Brigham Young University - Idaho, where I was actively involved in ASID and NKBA. This is an excellent, award winning program that is accredited by Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) and National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA). I graduated in April 2013 with a BS in Interior Design.
I currently enjoy working for a residential firm in Orange County, California. I get a lot of experience working in the field that energizes me and I love going to work everyday.
